Rainy Day Waterfall

I hiked to this waterfall back in February, during the last rainstorm of the season.

It may have been the last rainstorm, but it certainly was powerful. A sudden heavy shower prevented me from starting my hike. However, I soon got going.

After following the creek upstream, I came to dozens of gushing waterfalls. This was just one of those cascades.

It's hard to believe this is all in the Bay Area.

Your waterfall shots truly are amazing Parsec. I almost feel like I am there when I look at the photos!

Waterfalls seem so alive and deceptively playful. They beckon you to splash about, but you forget about the slippery spots. Your photos look refreshing and inviting. Good luck on your new blog. It looks like it will be an interesting one.

Parsec, where on earth (Bay Area, yeah, I know that!) did you snap this wonderful shot? Looks like Diablo or Marin?

Gambolin'-

Almost all of these are from remote canyons in the depths of the Las Trampas Wilderness. Ideal conditions are during or hours after heavy rainstorms.

And Ian-

Thanks dude!
